The Wounded Warrior Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that operates programs for the benefit of military veterans who have been wounded since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City. The organization, which is a GuideStar Platinum and BBB Accredited charity, has served over 100,000 service members and their families since its inception, helping to empower them through programs such as the Warriors to Work initiative.

A jobs program, the Warriors to Work initiative provides resources for veterans so they can successfully transition to civilian employment. The program, which also assists employers, offers comprehensive career guidance that includes resume building assistance, interview preparation, and employment matching. In addition, Wounded Warrior employers receive education on combat injuries and reasonable accommodations.
